In Memory of Kitty 2

This another wallhanging made from my mother-in law's clothes and some batik fabrics. It is my first attempt at applique and it was difficult as the clothes were mostly stretch knits and at the time I didn't know about interfacing. I made 11 different quilts as this amazing woman had 11 children! I only photographed the first 2. I look on this website and realise I need to learn to take better photos! The pattern came from a Fons and Porter Magazine.
