My 'not-rag" quilt

I had a lot of flannel pieces given to me a few years ago, more like brushed cottons. I started cutting to the lowest denomination of 5" squares. I was going to make a rag quilt. When I started assembling and trimming a few blocks, I realized I didnt like the look so I put it together as a regular quilt with border and binding. I layer out in diagonal light, medium and dark colours. The cats love it. It's a hit. It was my 2nd quilt done on Sweet 16, using ruler, stencil and FMQ.
