Paradise Island

I just love batiks, especially since there is no wrong side. This is made from a kit. I ordered 2 so I would have enough to make it king-size. I will also have enough fabric for a good-size lap quilt. It was easy to put together but I went a little wonky at times as to the order. But I finally got a mojo going. It took less than a month to piece. It is off to LAQ next week. And yes I did prewash the batiks. I know from experience that the dark blues and teal will run. In fact they all lose colour. It will be backed by another batik in the fish theme. I will post pictures when I get it back.
