Quilt for my mom

I made my first quilt and showed my mom who was 91. She was so proud of my accomplishment and had me show it to some of the other residents in her nursing home. One of the ladies asked me if I was going to make one for her. Then I thought, why not. I had a lot of purple fabric from my quilt, and since she loved the colours so much, I made her a small lap quilt for her 92nd birthday, which I gave her today.
