My Precious Gift

My Grandmother taught me to quilt. We made this together, but many years apart.She started it when my Dad was a very small boy, I finished it when he was 56. I can remember when I was very young about five or six, my Grand-pap wearing shirts made of the gray and blue plaid until they were thread bare. She is still with us but we've been told not for long. I Love Her So Very Much. She hand pieced her part using feed sac threads.
