farmhousequilts
My Grandmother taught me how to quilt, when I was about fifteen. The very first quilt I made was a scrappy square, quilt which, I tie tacked to quilt, this quilt I wrapped my baby daughter in 10 years later. I have always had a love for sewing, matter of fact I have sewn in one factory or another most of my lift. I don't know how many quilts I have made over the years. I do know I have quilts in South Africa, and Norway, not meaning to brag, but I think that is quit an accomplishment for this country girl. My Husband the love of my life and my best friend helps me with my quilts,he actually has had hands on by helping me sew and quilt them, sometimes. He promised a long arm machine twenty five years ago and I finally got it about two years ago,and of course he is my biggest admirer. I love to quilt, and plan to do more of it,although one day I would like to try to sell some of them, because it is a very expensive to give them all away, or store them in a cupboard, that is not to say that it don't give me joy to give someone a gift from my heart. My Daughter started me with MSQC and I fell in love with every thing about it especially Jenny. Thanks Jenny!
