A Love Story

My daughter and her husband had an unusual courtship. They were on separate continents for almost the whole 3 years and only in the same place together for 30 days. Because he was in the Navy,most of their communication was through letters, hand-written, the old fashioned way. I made this quilt as a wedding gift for them. It is hand quilted, the outside border is made up of blocks that tell each of their stories which of course include the Love Letter blocks.
