Hot Pad for Table

I was playing around with a nine-patch madness pattern using jelly roll strips (instead of the 5" squares the pattern called for). Not my best work, but I learned something. Long story short, I think this may be used as a gift for my first attendance at a guild meeting since I've moved. (Not sure because I do not know if you have to be a certain type of quilter to join this guild.) Anyway - I used double batting to make it thicker and simply sewed the right sides together, then turned it and sewed the edging (I really did not want to open a new jelly roll to bind it). Note: Final size, 10" x 10".
