Mom's Last Quilt

This is the quilt I made for Mom's last birthday; she loved homespun and plaids so I appliqued hearts onto alternating blocks. I made it narrow and long to fit her bed. After she got it, she immediately took a nap under it and loved it. After she left us a few weeks later it remained on her bed until I realized the sun was fading it and took it for storage.
