Colorado Mountains

Imade this quilt for my son who has moved from the flat shore of the Gulf of Mexico to Colorado's mountains. He has traded mudriding and deep sea fishing for rock climbing and skiing. I thought this pattern, Delectable Mountains, would be perfect. I tried to find fabric that would have meaning for him. He has a herd of deer who will eat out of his hand. They visit daily for corn and apples.
