Cynthia's Kaleidoscope
i made this quilt in a class. Made with batiks. I tried a lot of different fabrics before I was able to get the true look of a Kaleidoscope. The value depended on what other fabric it was next to. Very happy with how it turned out!

Mom's Fabric - Project 1
When my Mother passed away, my brother asked me what I was going to do with her fabric. I told him that WE were going to make quilts. So, I went thru her sewing room and cut 1 1/2" strips. Fabric that was in a UFO that I didn't think I would ever finish, scraps, etc. I ended up with 4 big tubs of strips. My brother has 12 blocks finished. I was determined to finish at least 1 quilt. I still have 3 tubs left. I guess I will have to make another one!
