Let the Magic Begin
This is a quilt I am machine quilting for my daughter Kate who will be graduating from University of Washington in June. I snatched up the Harry Potter fat quarter set from the Daily Deal sometime this year and have added other fabrics I gleaned that represented symbol images from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Patchwork Heart Pillow
I just happened to catch the live show of the Heart Pixel project from MSQC this week. Looked very doable and I was in need of making a special something for my Granddaughter Harper. So I dug thru my stash and added this and that from Kimberbell Basics charm pack. And sorted and cut and stacked and sewed and ironed and stuffed and whipped stitch it closed and signed it with a bow. Thank you to MSQC for all your wonderful tutorials, sharing the love of quilting. <3

Nellie's Lap Quilt
My grandson Brody who is rounding the corner to be 4 has a girl friend. Her name is Nellie and she resides at the Assistant Living Facility that his Mom works at. So of course I saw an opportunity to pull out some scraps and unintended fabric to make her a lap quilt. All I was told is that she likes blues....so here it is just before I put the binding around it.

Grand Ole Patchwork Flag
I have been wanting to do a project with the "The Little Things" fabric collection. And then the Grand Ole Flag pattern and tumbler template came up for the daily deal. And I scooped it up and played with fabrics I had and added some more from MSQC. And well here's my version. Happy 4th of July!
