My first quilt!
Took my first quilt class 4 monday mornings in April 2014. I had just retired after nearing 32 years working in the health insurance industry. I am so hooked.

Dance of the Dragonflies

Dresden Plate
My husband saw Jenny Dian on the nightly news in March 2014. He signed me up to attend a 3 day Darling Dresden class at MSQC in August 2014 (after my downsizing/retirement. My grandmother (Nana) made one quilt in her life, it was a Dresden Plate. I have that quilt and wanted to make one. It fonally finished ir May 2015.

Wine Table Topper
My son and his wife have a round copper-top table. (No Kids-yet). They entertain a lot. They asked if I could make them a quilted table topper. I have not figured out how to make a round quilt. So I made a square table topper with a bunge cord threaded under the binding with toggles. This was they can pull the cord and tighten on their table. The back is a beer print. Trying to please wine and beer lovers alike.
