By Karen2Maya 4 LIKES | 417 VIEWS Purse I’ve been branching out from quilts and doing lots of travel bags, diaper bags, wallets and now purses. I love how this one turned out! I plan on giving this to a 1st time grandma who’s daughter-in-law just had triplets - 3 boys!!! It will be her diaper bag for all those babysitting adventures ahead!! I try to shake things up in my sewing room and keep my mind sharp so once in a while I will stop quilts and try some new things! Love how this turned out. By Karen2Maya 16 LIKES | 741 VIEWS The Weave My niece wanted her quilt in purple. She’s an identical twin and has been our purple girl since birth (with her sister being the pink girl!) I had seen this pattern before and thought it would look awesome in a two tone purple. I love how it turned out and hopefully she will love it to! I’ve always loved the Jacobs Ladder pattern and have made a couple of quilts but always scrappy. Love this pattern in just two colours. By Karen2Maya 15 LIKES | 523 VIEWS Labyrinth Star I bought the batik fabric for this quilt over 6 years ago. I pieced it together around 4 years ago and then put it away in my bin of “to quilt” tops as I wasn’t really sure who would get it! Fast forward to now....my youngest son has purchased a condo and is looking for a quilt to compliment his brown toned living room. I went through that bin and it was love at first sight for him! He didn’t want a lot of fancy quilting on it so I chose to practice my ruler work with straight line quilting. It is backed with fleece and I used W & W for batting so this baby has a lot of weight to it! A happy son makes a happy mom!! By Karen2Maya 4 LIKES | 419 VIEWS Charm Quilt on point I had a stack of flannel fat quarters and thought they would work perfect for this on point quilt. It’s so cheery! Hoping it will cheer up a family in our local woman’s shelter. By Karen2Maya 14 LIKES | 464 VIEWS Drunkard’s Path Another one of my AccuQuilt die quilts. Not so crazy about the colors in this one....not quite enough contrast! By Karen2Maya 8 LIKES | 416 VIEWS «123»
