Mother of 4 who started quilting after my youngest went off to college. I took a quilting class and had great hopes of spending much time quilting but my mother had a stroke and my oldest daughter had a baby with a major health problem that required a colostomy at 2 weeks old. Between traveling back and forth to Chattanooga and Biloxi and helping my husband in his medical practice as his business manager and goIng through a major hurricane called Katrina I got very little quilting done. My sweet mother passed away 5 years ago. I now have 12 grandchildren and my goal is to make each of them a quilt. I am halfway done and am getting ready to start quilt number 7. It has been fun to choose a quilt for each but also challenging. I do sew other things in between such as rag quilts for new babies in our church, clothes, Easter and Halloween bags which I have designed and created for friends and family, and many other quilts. I Love To Sew!
