I've been sewing for 35 years and quilting for the last 2. My greatest accomplishments are Halloween costumes for my kids and my quilts! I don't have the patience for sewing clothes but have found that quilting has opened up my love for sewing in so many new ways, including finding a whole new community of friends.

LSU Football Quilt
I made a small version for our school / church auction and then my son decided he had to have one too. This is the second largest size of the quilt and we love it!

Because of the Brave
Inspired by one of Jenny's tutorials, I raided my stash, supplemented it a little, and made this quilt! We laid on it to watch the July 4 fireworks, and my family loved it! It truly represents America and reminds us how blessed we are to be free, because of the many brave men and women who have fought and are fighting for our freedom.
