Nathaniel's Lattice Quilt
I picked this pattern from Jenny's tutorials for my nephew and his fiancé. She's not a "girlie girl", but I wanted the border to be a little feminine for her.

Bekah's Quilt
Bekah is my first niece to get married and I wanted to make something special for her. I love this pattern and had made a quilt for my grandson with it. With the greens and brown tones against white, I thought it made a lovely wedding quilt. For the backing, I made a lengthwise strip from extra squares and put it in an offset position to give the plain back some visual interest.

An American Classic
I made this quilt for my nephew who had just earned his Eagle Scout badge. I wanted something that said "Stupendous boy Scout!" but not too military in theme. This one seemed just perfect. I added a touch of red (for Eagle Scout) in a strip down the back.

Jenny's Two-Step Quilt
I loved the idea of this quilt, watched the tutorial carefully, but when I put all my blocks together I found that I had "mirrored" Jenny's blocks! So when I set out to put them in order, my quilt had a totally different look from hers. So I dubbed it the "Texas Two Step" as it hails from the Lone Star State!

Goodnight Irene
I have loved all the 1930s reproduction fabrics and have been itching to make something with them. When I received the first BLOCK magazine subscription I fell in love with this pattern! So here it is and I am thrilled because I used wool batting for the first time and this is going to be my winter-snuggle-on-the-couch quilt.....well who am I kidding, in Alaska you sometimes need that in the summer as well!!

Pineapple Blossom quilt top
This is a pattern from Bonnie Hunter's site quiltville. It is called Pineapple Blossom. She made hers with sashing but I left that part out . It is made from my scrappy stash. It is first in line to be the next quilt to be free motion quilted.
