The trees are Robert Kaufman Artisan Batiks. The stars in the sashing are from the same fabric. This was my first time using applique. The pattern was for a wall quilt and I wanted a Queen size quilt. When I enlarged it the cross turned out "gigantic" so I had to make a few adjustments. I used straight line machine quilting and it took a while to complete. It is all worth it for my little girl! I didn't have any of his shirts so I went to Goodwill and bought some XXL shirts and just made this HST quilt. I used flannel for the backing. It is 81" x 81" and is the perfect size to use in my little camper. By MemeRuss 8 LIKES | 1113 VIEWS «12»
