I made this quilt for my daughter and her husband for their camper. I watched the tutorial on the Illusion Quilt ant I also used the pattern out of the Block Magazine from the Holiday Issue Volume 1 Issue 6. I added a border to the sides with 2 1/2 " strips of the same line to make it wider.

Paint By Number Bargello

I just finished this bargello last night, all I have to do is quilt it and bind it. Only problem, is my favorite quilt shop where I rented a long arm is closing August 8th. I'm so sad. What shall I do to quilt it? I know, purchase my own long arm machine!! My husband just smiles. I did this entire quilt top in my motorhome, on the road for the summer. I am so happy. I've finally figured out how to cut, sew, iron, and piece in my motorhome without a lot of problems. Yay. Thank you for looking.

Ribbon Stars on Black

Pete's Lattice Quilt

My brother Pete is undergoing a bone marrow transplant for leukemia so I made this "guy" quilt to remind him of my love for him as he undergoes treatment. The pattern is Jenny's 4-patch Lattice Quilt. I used my first layer cake, Grand Traverse Bay from Moda, with blues and tans that I thought would be masculine enough. The lattice is a navy blue color. I always back my quilts with a soft flannel for extra coziness.

Loud double square star quilt

The colors of this quilt remind me of my Grandmother. She would have loved it! I used three Kaffe Fassett Spicy palette charm packs and 2 yards of Kaffe classics aboriginal orchid dot fabric for the background. Charm pack left overs were used to make the half square triangle corner embellishments and accent squares. The double square star pattern was very easy to assemble. Coral minky backing went well with the spicy palette fabric. The long arm quilter did a great job enhancing the pattern.
