I am fortunate enough to live in the high desert mountains of Utah. We moved here many years ago and enjoy the fresh air and wildlife. I work for the State of Utah and lovingly call my job "quiltusinteruptus". I love to use scraps! My first quilt was made with my mother and we used newspapers to paper piece all of my sewing fabric scraps into a wonderful quilt. After my kids were grown and out of the home I took over two bedrooms for my sewing/quilting studios. I collect, repair, and sew on my vintage sewing machines. That doesn't mean I don't use the newer ones, but there is something so right about using the vintage machines to sew my quilts. I love to teach beginner quilting classes. I love my life. I thank my Heavenly Father each day for the blessings that are my life.
