Quilting Grandma. Retired 10 years ago. Hubby built me a small quilt shack that I have quickly out grown. I go out there everyday just like a job. I love having my own space to be creative, experiment, and talk to myself. Lol. I've done a lot of memory Quilts over the past two years and I feel so grateful to be able to put a smile on others faces. I am blessed.

Tina's quilt.
We all have "that" child. You know, the one that wants a quilt but can only tell you a color. For months I've texted fabric, patterns etc. but nothing ever hit the spot for her. I live for Jenny's weekly tutorials, they always put a pep in my step, and get those creative juices flowing. The day I saw the tutorial on Emerald Isle, I knew that had to be it. I texted my darling daughter and told her to watch You Tube for that quilt. I quickly got a reply back, That's It! Whew, ok let's buy fabric quickly before she changes her mind. I gave her my MSQC sign in and told her what precut to choose from and we were off to the races.
