Mom's Beauty In Check
I took this class with Janice, one of the authors of the book "Beauty in Check". Since my mom loves pink I changed the checks to pink and white. I make "couch quilts" 50" x 90" so I needed some extra on the ends and used hexie flowers and buttons.

I am making each of my nieces and nephew a "couch quilt" 50"x90" (half of a queen batting). This one is for the last niece on the list. It is made using the outline for a "Japanese Afternoon Quilt", I had to duplicate the size of part of it to make it fit the size I wanted.
