Kansas Troubles LeMoyne Star Quilt

I made this quilt for my parents who live 3000 miles away from me in NC. I picked the fabrics to coordinate with their living room decor. To be certain I made a single LeMoyne throw pillow cover the first year. I made it large as I wanted them both to be able to cuddle under it on the sofa. The sashing was a decision made later during the lay-out stage and I'm really happy with it. The important thing is they loved it! This was pieced entirely on my Singer 15-30 treadle and quilted using my Davis Vertical Feed treadle and Singer 15-30 treadle.
