I wanted to create a very simple graphic quilt that could be made in several sizes - lap, single, full, queen and king. My idea was to use a package of 10 inch squares by Hoffman California that I had and to divide them into two piles; light and darker. The thought was to use these to give the quilt a push and pull feel to give a sense of dimension. I think it worked out nicely.

The Essentials Tote
This bag was designed to use 12 Fat Quarters. We all have a ton of fat quarters and a nice way to show them off is by utilizing them as a fashion accessory. This bag was made using the Cotton & Steel Blue Bird collection. I am a big fan of the designers at Cotton & Steel.

A Star On The Horizon
I made these flag-like place mats using a variety of strip widths. I love batiks and this selection had lots of depth to really give some visual punch. They are turned so there is no binding and just a little bit of hand quilting with floss gives them some fun detail.
