Giving Time

My Aunt Oke has been so hospitable and generous to me and my family. She loves to crochet and has made several afghans. Since she is so talented no one has made anything for her. I felt it appropriate to give back to her.

Grateful Piece

This quilt top was made by a friend of my grandmother. I was told that the material used was from flour sacks. I had never quilted prior to receiving this piece. I am very thankful as this was the beginning of my love for quilting.
