Chez Moi Calypso Placemats and Runner

Charm squares from Chez Moi. Chez moi charms "Table Charm" by Whistlepig Creek Productions 1 runner, and 4 placemats 3-22-14: One placemat quilted, in the ditch with green shaded thread. 3-31-14: All quilted, including runner. Added 1/4 inch topstitch for center panel and sides. 4-5-14: Got to get a yard of green for binding. Bought a soft blue instead. 6-7-14: Hand sewing the binding down on first placemat. Done. 6-13-14: Friday the 13th full moon. Finished runner and another placemat. Made rainbow jello. 8-18-17: Finished sewing binding on last 2 placemats. All done.

Garden Song Quilt

King size plus drapes for master bedroom. Garden Song by Marianne Elizabeth. Fabric - Abigail by Kathy Brown, Teacher's Pet for Red Rooster. I've made a variety of color choices in the Maple Star blocks - don't want the overall effect to be too pink, need some delft blue. 4-13-13 Top is complete except for the borders, which I need to figure out. Added a narrow purple border, and wide floral border. 4-26-13 Bought 3 3/8 yd of 118" wide black for back at Creative Needle. Ironed, today off to the quilter, Connie Nelson. 5-10: Time to pick up the quilt still needs binding. 5-15: Now for the binding. 9-10-16. Binding complete, second pillow sham complete

I bought a full set of fat quarters, from Lady Bug in Colorado Springs, but at Quilt-a-Fair in Longmont, as I have not been to the ColoSpgs store.

Color Falls

Pattern: Color Falls CTQC Sisters-in-Stripping. My strips were provided by Heather John. Was able to find some of one of the turquoises to be able to do a border. That's kind of the bad thing about a swap like this. I also messed up with the black and needed some more but couldn't find the print, so I did a "make do" substitution.
