Getting Started
Ok, this is my first quilt block and it took many years to get to this point seeing as I am 62 and just starting to Quilt. Well they is not entirely correct. I first started on a long arm I had bought for my wife. I ended up doing the quilting and my wife did the tops. It seemed like we were having ummm, discussions on how I would do the quilting. While not wanting to disappoint my wife, I was not having the creative freedom I was looking for. So I started piecing and we allowed ourselves creative input on each other projects but the owner had final say. Peace was had for all. The picture is my very first quilt block.
