redcaboose1717's likes 50th Anniversary Family Tree I made this quilt for my Mom & Dad's 50th Anniversary. I appliquéd the leaves and then hand embroidered around each and embroidered all the children and grandchildren's names on the leaves. There are five children, so each branch is a family with their spouse and children. There are lots of extra leaves around each branch as well for the families to grow and great-grandchildren to be added. The trunk of the tree has my parents names in two hearts. My parents loved it! It was so much fun to see it come together. However, once she took it home, her cat claimed it by sitting on it wherever it was placed!
