    Using 6.5 pieces of inexpensive dollar store tablet paper I started with 2" white strip and built out on each side with colorful scraps. I combined four finished 6.5 blocks to make larger blocks.

    This quilt was made for my youngest granddaughter. She is a month old now and growing. I actually got the quilt done before she went to college. :) The pattern is Eleanor Burns' Summer Porch and was so easy to construct. The quilting is my continued practice of walking foot quilting. I added a label that matches the pattern and wrote her name in the signature line.
