Forever Daddy's Girl
I made this for my dad. It's an easy log cabin...the cheating way. I found that taking a picture helped me to see the contrast and where I needed to flip my blocks. These pictures are before I adjusted and put the blocks together.

I made this quilt at the Fall 2017 Camp Horseshoe Quilt Retreat in Parsons, WV. I love a parade and this will be the quilt that my grandbabies sit on to watch parades with me.

Diamond Checkered Dresden
I finished this at Camp Horseshoe Fall Retreat 2017. This is a Missouri Star Quilt Company pattern, but I snowballed each block to make the diamonds because I didn't like all the blank space. I also have a thing for stop borders. This also brought the yellow to the outside of the quilt. The green border and the diamonds are the same fabric. The are not from the same line as the dresdens since they were an after thought. Most things I do evolve as I go along.
