Modified 3 Dudes Quilt
When I started watching the Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorials, I was amazed at what Jenny did to alter the 3 Dudes Quilt. I thought, "This lady is a rockstar!!" So after joining the team at MSQC and starting Man Sewing, I just had to create a new modification of the awesome 3 Dudes Pattern. Jenny and I filmed the tutorial together and had a blast!

Kaffe's zipper
My second grown-up sized quilt and the first one using precuts. I had no idea who Kaffe Fasset was, no clue who Jenny Doan was but but in my first searches on the internet I happened to combine the two. since then I have made two more zipper quilts for nieces who love the pattern using black and other happy colors, but this one remains my favorite.

Stargello
It's an easy pattern, but it takes some time to do. Worth the effort, because it's really pretty. It's strip pieced in a bargello style and cut using two purchased templates. It is about 42" square. Next steps are to applique a circle in the center, then sandwich and quilt.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
A quilting buddy gave me this Christmas panel last year but being a 'newbie' at quilting I didn't know what to do with it. Then I saw the MSQC attic window tutorial and problem solved - except I didn't have any concept of how large it would become. Way too big for a wall hanging so I decided to add some blocks to the side, and an outer border to give it more width and I have a Christmas snuggle quilt! I used silver metallic thread to quilt snowflakes on it.

May the Force be with you.
My daughter and her new husband are huge Star Wars fans so for their wedding I pieced together this quilt. It is a 2-sided quilt with the Imperial Army on one side and the Rebel Force on the other. I would not have been able to do the quilt without Michelle at Misha29 and the lovely ladies at Fandom in Stitches who designed and published most of the blocks (there are 2 crochet patterns that I converted).

Nathan's 13th Birthday Quilt
I wanted to make a masculine quilt using Nathans' favorite colors. I had no idea what a teenage boy might like! This one spent a lot of time on the design wall. My husband helpfully suggested using the reds in a diamond pattern. Very happy with the results!
