My mother is a seamstress. She taught me to sew when I was a little girl and I sewed a lot of clothes for myself as well as for my sons when they were little. I started quilting about fifteen years ago and it has become my passion. Now that I'm retired I happily quilt almost every day.

Dresden Spring
This wall hanging was designed, pieced and quilted by me. I call it Dresden Spring. The dresdens were quilted with rulers and the white background is FMQ. I used MSQC's easy cathedral window tutorial for the border.

My blue placemats
I made these six placemats using the same fabrics for each, but each placemat is a different pattern. I was just learning how to quilt with rulers at that time so I did all the quilting with rulers.

Shadow City
The pattern for this quilt comes from "French Braid Quilts" by Jane Hardy Miller. I made it as a wedding gift for my son and daughter-in-law.

TShirt Quilt
I was commissioned to make a tshirt quilt for a young lady graduating from high school. Her Mom had been saving tees since she was about 8 or 10 years old. The pink-with-white-polka-dot rectangles are where her friends & family will sign it at her graduation party. This is my 3rd t-quilt to make and I'm learning how best to accomplish the task!
