Jewel toned charm quilt on point

I loved the tutorial for this quilt by Jenny yesterday. I look forward to the MSQC tutorial every week. I had to make this quilt right away. This will be a wedding gift for a friend. I wanted to have smaller borders, so I made four borders. I love the look of the tiny border. I just finished free motion quilting the quilt for a wedding in two days :-)

BQ Retirement jacket and tie quilt

Raggy Sheshewe Quilt

As a long time crafter I had lost my enthusiasm for creating crochet blankets in the hot South African summer. I have always loved beautiful fabrics and while browsing online I came across Jenny and her wonderful tutorials. She made quilting look easy so I thought let’s give this art form a try. Now I’m hooked. Although I am not an experienced sewer I am slowly but surely learning this craft. As you can see the effort is a bit wonky and not 100% but I have found a new love.
