We recently celebrated Malakhi's birthday. Again, I made him a little bag & filled it with books to read & drawing & colouring-in books. I also made a little zipper pouch & popped in a couple of metal cars. I'm sure his mum will use these items for him to carry his bits n pieces to daycare.

Tote Bags for Ploughing Competition

We recently travelled across to the other side of the country from Western Australia to Victoria for the State & National Ploughing Titles. My husband in the vintage class using his Vintage Grey Ferguson Tractor & vintage plough doing very well but missing a medal by a count back. Every girl needs a new tote when going on holiday, so I made these 2 bags for the occasion. I used hessian & gorgeous tractor fabric to keep with the theme.

A Quilt for Brax

My great nephews are both motor bike enthusiasts and Motor X champions in their age groups, having gained many titles during competitions throughout Western Australia. They live in the north of WA and travel all over the country to meetings and comps. Like all little champions kids can't thrive in any field without the love and wonderful support of their parents. A Memory Quilt for Dylan

I was making these bird blocks the weekend that a local boy had a bicycle accident and sadly passed away at the scene where he fell off his bike. When my husband came home & told me what had happened I knew right then that I would make these beautiful blocks into a quilt in memory of little Dylan. I recently finished the quilt & took it to the family. I added a rod pocket so they have an option of hanging it on a wall. I know they realise the impact that Dylans death has had on many people in our small but connected town. God bless Dylan & his beautiful family. Ride high on your bicycle sweet darling child.
