Big Star Wedding Quilt
I made this Big Star for my daughter's wedding. She picked the fabrics for the stars. It was not difficult and makes a big statement. I used 7" squares cut from yardage to make the stars and followed Jenny's tutorial. I had it quilted by a LQS.

We Need Our Space - Handprints
This was a classroom auction project for my children's school. The handprint were made on white cotton oversized layer cake squares and were "crazy" pieced randomly with star print fabrics. The border was pieced with leftover fabrics and the space pictures were appliquéd on the border. The throw is quilted in glow in the dark thread with a space theme.

April Showers
I enlarged the applique pattern for the umbrellas in order to create a 9 block quilted wall hanging that would also be suitable for my front door. It was a good way to use up some scraps from last year's row by row water themed fabrics.

Retirement Quilt
A good friend of mine is retiring at the end of the month. We've worked together for 15 years..so rather than buying a gift, I felt I should make a quilt for her. I used my favorite quickie quilt pattern...I love it because it makes a very large throw and I don't have to think or stress out on it.

Scottish Tumbler Quilt
I lost my mom in February and she was from Scotland and had a Westie she named Shug. She got him to keep her company at night while my dad was at work. She had cancer and her little dog comforted her. When I saw this fabric I just knew I had to have it and use it to make my dad a quilt to remember my mom and to comfort him. This is my first quilt from start to finish including quilting it on my machine and making my own bias binding, which I hand stitched on. I enjoyed mking it and will definitely be making more!

I made 2 of these 36" square throws from the pattern that won the 2016 Quilt Block Design contest for Accuquilt. I used American Made solids in the same colors as the block designer used. They are to be a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law.
