My daughter quilt
About 30 years ago I made most of my daughters outfits. Dress and skirts mostly. Over the years I started a quilt with all the scraps from the outfits I made. But as so many of you can relate, it sat away in a box for years. As I grew older I had a bucket list of things I wanted to finish, first college, 2 my daughters quilt.Well I graduated from college in 2010, then on to finish my quilt.this is my first quilt and is special because of the memories it holds.

Went on a shop hop to Watkins Glenn, and the artist who drew the animals was there. She was fantastic. A few months later calico gals was selling her line and of course I had to make one for my grand baby Zachary. Fun and easy.

My husband saw Jenny Dian on the nightly news in March 2014. He signed me up to attend a 3 day Darling Dresden class at MSQC in August 2014 (after my downsizing/retirement. My grandmother (Nana) made one quilt in her life, it was a Dresden Plate. I have that quilt and wanted to make one. It fonally finished ir May 2015.

Wedding Quilt
I made this quilt for my daughters wedding last year. She wanted reproduction fabrics and helped me pick out most of the prints. She loved the hexi quilt and so MSQC half hexi saved me by making it so easy to use and piece. I loved the results!
