I have been sewing since the 6th grade and as a historical reenactor; up until now, I have sewed period clothing for myself and my children. Widowed at 49, remarried a teenage crush who is a Colonel in the USAF, we have just returned from three years in England with little time for sewing. Now, I am impatiently waiting for his career to wind down for his retirement and felt that the best way to utilize my time would be to sew for charity. With a Babylock sewing machine and a quilting machine, I thought I would make some quilts and dresses for charity. I just love to sew and create fun projects.
