My son wanted me to make him a quilt - and his 40th birthday was approaching - so he wanted lots of black and bright colors! He loves cats and music, so some of those fabrics were worked in, too. I presented it to him on Thanksgiving when he was visiting from Indiana.

Blue and Yellow Table Topper
I had been making table runners for friends and family and decided I wanted one for my own kitchen! By changing the layout of the pattern I had been using, I made it square rather than rectangular. It was fun and ended up cheery and bright!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear Baby Quilt
This was to be for my newest great-nephew Jake. I saw the Brown Bear panel and thought I would start from there. A friend also machine embroidered Jake's name for me to work into the quilt. It all came together and I was pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a finished picture of the quilt!

Made this quilt for my daughter for Christmas. It is Jenny's Disappearing Nine Patch. I liked the idea of laying the blocks so that seams did not match. It is a fun pattern that can be arranged so many different ways.

OHIO STATE Birthday Quilt
Time for another grandson's birthday and it is his year to get his quilt. Will is all about the Buckeyes! He wears a jersey at least once a week and watches the games. He has been to the "SHOE" for a game with his Papa. I enjoyed everything about making this and it will be a great topper for his bed since it is backed with black minky!
