My first quilt!
This is the first quilt I've ever made. It is for my newborn niece. It took a long time to complete because I kept having to learn the techniques. I used the Disappearing Hour-Glass technique from Missouri Quilt Company for the stars, the Circle of Nine by Janet Houts and Jean Ann Wright for the layout and the rectangular pieces, and then I foundation paper pieced the border. I really enjoyed combining different techniques to make my own unique quilt design!

Baby Flower Garden
I made this one for the baby of a colleague of mine. First I started with Jenny's flutter by quilt pattern, and ending up adding five flowers made of hexies which were then hand appliquéd down. The back is a very soft cuddle material. I used part of a jelly roll and a grey background. I think the overall effect is pretty cheerful.

Bird quilt
I made this quilt for my father for his 75th birthday. He has a bird feeder and these are many of the birds he gets there in New England. It is all foundation pieced using the patterns from Backyard Bird Quilts by Jodie Davis.

Fancy Feast
My brother's girlfriend loves to entertain. I hope that this table topper and hot pads will add a special flair to her " fancy feasts". She brings joy to our family and I hope this does the same for her.

The "M" Quilt
I saw this quilt on pintrest and the designer was kind enough to send me pictures but no instructions. I wanted to use jelly rolls so my friend Margaret did the math for me. So I named it after her. I decided to make some dresser scarfs to match this quilt. Kind of old fashioned but it looks nice in my guest room.

Dresden Spring
This wall hanging was designed, pieced and quilted by me. I call it Dresden Spring. The dresdens were quilted with rulers and the white background is FMQ. I used MSQC's easy cathedral window tutorial for the border.
