I had finished the blocks for this quilt and began trying to lay them out. I moved and turned them several different ways and just couldn’t get a design that I was looking for. When I moved some blocks around again, the cross just jumped right out at me. I fell in love.

This was made from a gift from an ETSY shop of a mini charm pack plus a little fabric. The fabric is; Bee Inspired by Deb Strain for Moda. I already had the little saying from Block Party Studios. I added a little bling as the light from my sewing room window hits the swarovski crystals. My quilter did an awesome job using little feathers, little swirls and mini circles.

Fresh Lilacs
This quilt has had the top pieced for about two years and I have finally got the time to finish it. Another UFO done. The fabric line is called Fresh Lilacs by Moda plus yardage from my stash. The pattern is called Quadrafoil. Jenny has an amazing tutorial for this on You Tube. Love the colours in this.
