I am a Mother of 4, Grandmother of 8 and Great-Grandmother of 6. I have been sewing since I was in the 6th. grade. Learned to sew on Grandma's treadle sewing maching. Started out making making clothes for myself, then my kids and husband. Stil making his shirts after 60 yr.. Started quilting after our son died in an accident. My first quilt was pieces of his shirts. That was in 1981,still making quits. I like to make quilts with a lot of contrast. Your tutorials have helped me in a new direction. Making the easier.
