2015 Undercover in Houston Mystery Quilt
I took a class at the Houston Quilt Festival in Oct 2015. This pattern used 1,266 pieces! It took me out of my comfort zone but made me realize I can make more complex patterns! It will be a Christmas quilt because of the border and reindeer fabric backing.

This was an "emergency" quilt for a friend who in the same week, lost his job and was told he had pancreatic cancer. A second opinion revealed no cancer! I call it "Celebrate Your Life!" The pattern is Ribbon Star by Missouri Star Quilt Co (free video online) and uses 2.5" strips.
