Gabe and Cassandra's Disappearing Pinwheel
My mom and I made this as a team project for my cousin's wedding. She made all the blocks and I made the borders. It was quilted by my mom's friend.

Sirocco
The idea started with a quilt in a magazine, then last year with the Disappearing Pinwheel tutorial the idea gelled. We swapped squares of fabric that had an autumn theme. Sirocco is the name of an autumn wind in the Mediterranean.

Lena's Wacky pinwheel quilt
I made this for my 6 yr old granddaughter. When I made the wacky pinwheels I was not aware of a tool I could have purchased to make it wacky without cutting all those wedges and sewing them on the sides!!!! I also hid the name Lena calls me "Geeba" in one of the blocks. It is also the largest quilt that I have free motion quilted on my Janome 6600. I think it came out just the way I hoped it would!

Red, White, and Ewes
The quilt was inspired by the images of sheep on the Moda fabric and the historic site where I volunteer. Pennsbury Manor's sheep are a favorite of visitors of all ages. This quilt uses a traditional star pattern for the center madallion and is bordered with pinwheel blocks. The finished size is 58" x 63".

Disappearing Pinwheel
My mom and I decided to make the Disappearing Pinwheel quilt. My mom made the original version in reds and I made the churn dash version in blues and then we switched half our blocks. That way we both got unique quilts. It was easy and a lot of fun. The blocks are made out of scraps. I gave this quilt to Jill for her wedding.

Happy Halloween
Wanted to make a Halloween quilt and when I saw the disappearing pinwheel tutorial and found the Moda layer cake I knew they went together ! This actually got done before Halloween ( amazing !) however, it was only a day or so ( lol ) so am looking forward to displaying/using it all of this October.
