This fast and easy quilt was made from the Birch Bark Lodge line of fabrics. The colors are warm and cozy and easy to live with. My husband loves this quilt. I used two layer cakes plus yardage for the borders.

This is a variation on the beloved Log Cabin Quilt. I feel that this quilt is my most significant quilt I've made. I call it my Journey quilt. I began making this quilt in 1998. I made several blocks and then I experienced several profound life changes and I didn't resume working on it until about 2009. I used a variety of fabrics in the making of this quilt. Many of the fabrics are from Thimbleberries but the rest were picked up here and there and also pulled from my stash.
