A gift for my niece and her new husband-to-be. They marry in April 2015. The Nosegay block first appeared in the 1930's. It's a very traditional block.

Off The Grid
I've never done a "modern" quilt with negative space and no border. I took the class 'Off The Grid' taught by Lee Heinrich at QuiltCon 2015 to stretch me out of my traditional layout comfort zone. We made the blocks ahead of time and then played with different modern layouts in class.
