Peggy's Quilt #35 Old Glory Eagle Patriotic Quilt
This is my 35th quilt. I made this for a Vietnam veteran who lives in Minnesota. My neighbor in Edmonds, Washington told me of her love and admiration for her step-father, and of his service to our country, and my heart told me I had to make this quilt for him. I found the Old Glory Eagle panel and fabric at a local area quilting store in Anacortes, and then made up the pattern. I finished piecing the quilt top on Veteran's Day 11/11/2019, and then sent it off for long-arm quilting. I finally finished the binding, and sent it off to Minnesota in time for Memorial Day 2020, but forgot to take a photo of the finished item. (My bad!) The finished size is about 64"x74". I made a coordinating pillow case that can double as a storage cover. I love quilting! Posted by Peggy @ Bothtwins on September 12, 2020.
