I started sewing when I was 9 years old. I made my own cloths for years. When my children were small I made all their cloths. It was always an adventure to go to the fabric store and let them pick out patterns and fabric for their cloths. Their favorite thing was soft flannel pjs in the winter. I started quilting in my early 20s when one of my Aunt started quilting. I was hooked instantly. My husband was in the Air Force for over 20 years so there were long periods of time that he was away. Quilting filled that time.
