Star Spangled Table Topper
We eat on a 175 year old table every day. I wanted a patriotic quilted table cloth. I used fannel on the back. It works perfect.

The Declaration
Made this queen size quilt for my son who is very patriotic. The strip with the Declaration of Independence was cut from Kate Ward Thacker/Next Day Art for Robert Kaufman Patriots. There is a complete panel of the Declaration on the back of the quilt.

Modern shades of grey and green
There are so many new grey and green prints appearing in quilt stores right now. I wanted to do a simple symmetric design to show off the ones I was collecting. This pattern allowed me to keep the quilting in straight vertical lines with accent lines in the sashing using a decorative stitch with a variegated green thread.
