After living my whole life in the big city, I retired to my hubbys family farm. To keep my hands and my mind busy, I learned to quilt and expanded my gardening quite a bit. Then I joined 2 quilt guilds, the DAR and bought a long arm. Whew! I am now a very busy gal. I was a bit afraid that retirement meant sitting in the rocker on the front porch and watching the corn in the fields grow. Naaaaah, no time for that, so many quilts, so little time is so very true.
