Made from a fat quarter bundle following a MSQC tutorial, this quilt was a birthday gift for my friend Susan.

A scrappy quilt made with 10" foundation papers

This panel and coordinating fabric came out in 2011, shortly after I started seriously quilting. The panel pieces were all different sizes, but are exact replicas of the art in the book by Dr. Seuss. I couldn't figure out how to build a quilt using all those different sized blocks, but after completing almost 100 quilts over the past 3 years, I figured out how to put them together using familiar techniques and small blocks to build rows as the story progresses.

After making many quilts from Jenny's tutorials, I had the confidence to try this using a specific template.

This quilt was made using blocks from a block swap on the Missouri Star quilting forum.
